"As I said in my previous message, I am pretty much 100% a Macintosh user. I keep a MacBook Pro with Windows XP Pro (using Bootcamp) to run some "Windows Only" apps. But since I make my living with computers, I have become the de factor family "Computer Guru". I am very pleased to report that I have used RegCure to solve a problem Microsoft could not. For the last two weeks Microsoft and I have been trying to solve a problem with my computer. I have Vista Ultimate installed and it stopped downloading updates late in 2007. Since then there have been problems.

So I contacted Microsoft help and they got me to try various fixes, all that did not work. Eventually I was required to reformat the hard drive and load it all up again. Losing a lot of the information I had on the computer.

After loading Vista, loading Vista SP1 was problematic and after much loading and downloading I finally got it to load. Then there was all the other downloads that need to be installed 78 of them. They did not install and reported an internal error and to check Microsoft for a solution. So back to square 1.
Especially Vista SP 2 just would not respond.

AND guess what all my problems of downloading have vanished and everything is working just fine.

The computer stopped displaying web videos particularly on you tube, although my sound card and video card played others and was operational. I downloaded flash player as instructed - no solution. I reset the JavaScript Applets - no help. I did everything - all day - for hours, no solution. I typed, in total frustration, "cannot play you tube videos" in the Google engine. Found a Wiki Answer suggesting flash player again, and a forum. The forum turned out to be your web site. Saw a comment like mine and the guy said his problem was solved. "!! I am so glad I bought this one because my computer has never run faster and it was beginning to worry me due to how slow it was running. I have 1 Gig of RAM and had a problem with a virus and had to get Dell to assist and while the tech had my credit card number, he told me I HAD TO HAVE AT LEAST 2 MORE GIG's of RAM or my system would crash and would work slower and slower until that happens, but "for this limited time, I can sell you the additional 2 gigs for $30".

Sure enough, after he got into my computer, it started running so slowly I thought something was wrong, and after I ran RegCure, it sped up to what I expected out of my satellite modem! (It was running about the same speed as dial-up, but when we ran the speed test, it tested at almost 360kbps download time, so it was just what I call "computer constipation," and the RegCure fixed that in 1 sweep!)

Feel free to add my comments to your web-site. It was first recommended by my cousin, a computer professor at a local Community College, and he told me it was a "wonderful program", which sold me in purchasing it. I have not had a program work so fast at boosting the speed of my computer. I knew I was running at 380kbps download speed, but the pages from Explorer would take sometimes 3-5 minutes to load, and I could never figure it out until I ran RegCure several times and found out I just needed a good program to clean the programs out completely I had deleted and fix the Program Shortcuts, App Paths, and File extensions that didn't exist, and after I ran it, I loaded a page I run normally and it took about 14 seconds instead of the 3 minute wait I had been experiencing. You could not ask for more in a program than that, and this was probably the best investment I have made for this computer since I bought it 3 years ago. The tech at Dell told me I needed more memory, when I am running 1 gig, and tried to sell me 2 more gigs at $30.

I spent that money on RegCure instead and I don't think adding memory would have sped me up near as fast as this program because the problem was not in download speed or memory; it was my system being clogged and RegCure is the ultimate "Rotor-Rooter" for that!"

I have a 1 year old Dell Latitude D620 that I use for business. Approximately 6 months after purchasing the computer it started putting up a message each time I turned it on that opened in the Windows Desktop after I logged onto it. The notice stated that there was a problem with the registry opening a program but did not state what program was causing the problem. I worked with Dell's support group for about 6 phone conversations trying to get this problem solved. Dell finally gave up and suggested I reformat the hard drive and reinstall the operating system. I was reluctant to do this because of all the work involved in reloading all of my business programs.

I finally did a web search on Registry repair programs and found that RegCure had very high ratings. So, I purchased the program and ran it on my PC. It came up with several registry problems which the program repaired but none fixed my basic problem. I went to RegCure's web site and wrote an email to the customer service department. They came back within one day and started working on my problem. They were not able to find the problem immediately so they escalated the problem to their expert team.....they had me do several tests and within 24 hours had pointed me in the right direction.....problem solved!

"After many months of steadily declining performance my P.C. (running XP) had become so sluggish that it had become totally frustrating to use. Prior to running RegCure my screen was constantly locking up, with a "Not Responding" error notification appearing, and with no way to clear it, other than to shut down, restart, and move on to the next lockup. Clicking on "End Process or Close" simply cloned the message again leaving the screen locked. After installing and running RegCure the change was immediate and most welcome. Performance has accelerated to the point that I now feel that I need sunglasses when using the P.C. as response time is now "blindingly" fast.

While there are still a few problems to resolve, I feel that installing RegCure resolved 90 to 95% of them. I still occasionally run into a "Not Responding" message. However, I can now clear that by right clicking on the offending file name in the bottom field, left click on "Close" to close the file, bring the file back up, and get back to work. One thing that does help is to give the P.C. sufficient time to load programs before using it.

For the record, Microsoft's position on my problems, reported to them ad nauseum over many months, invariably informed me by automated notices "That while the problem was caused by Windows, a product of Microsoft, we have no fix for the problem"; the last notice suggested that I upgrade to a later level product."

"...Well I should have started with you folks in the first place...

Ever since my nephew crashed my Internet connection… My turtle speed computer (which is still faster than I am) has been temperamental… I spent hours on the phone with the "BRAIN-IAC'S" of Microsoft and they couldn't figure out what he did… My "account" was even elevated to their "research" (or some such techy) team - the matter was "unresolved."

On my work computer is where I found you folks. I purchased RegCure and the very fast scan came up with 800+ errors that my nephew created.

When I okayed "removing" the errors - I figured it couldn't get any worse… and with the tap (actually pounding) of one key… and considerable belching by my computer... I had my Internet connection back.

And each time after that that I ran RegCure it detected less and less errors. It ran better each time… Until the Microsoft update that killed the connection again. That matter actually turned out to be a Microsoft issue, I guess, then this da** thing creeped into being.
