I am so glad I bought this one because my computer has never run faster and it was beginning to worry me due to how slow it was running. I have 1 Gig of RAM and had a problem with a virus and had to get Dell to assist and while the tech had my credit card number, he told me I HAD TO HAVE AT LEAST 2 MORE GIG's of RAM or my system would crash and would work slower and slower until that happens, but "for this limited time, I can sell you the additional 2 gigs for $30". Sure enough, after he got into my computer, it started running so slowly I thought something was wrong, and after I ran RegCure, it sped up to what I expected out of my satellite modem! (It was running about the same speed as dial-up, but when we ran the speed test, it tested at almost 360kbps download time, so it was just what I call "computer constipation," and the RegCure fixed that in 1 sweep!) It was first recommended by my cousin, a computer professor at a local Community College, and he told me it was a "wonderful program", which sold me in purchasing it. I have not had a program work so fast at boosting the speed of my computer. I knew I was running at 380kbps download speed, but the pages from Explorer would take sometimes 3-5 minutes to load, and I could never figure it out until I ran RegCure several times and found out I just needed a good program to clean the programs out completely I had deleted and fix the Program Shortcuts, App Paths, and File extensions that didn't exist, and after I ran it, I loaded a page I run normally and it took about 14 seconds instead of the 3 minute wait I had been experiencing. You could not ask for more in a program than that, and this was probably the best investment I have made for this computer since I bought it 3 years ago. The tech at Dell told me I needed more memory, when I am running 1 gig, and tried to sell me 2 more gigs at $30. I spent that money on RegCure instead and I don't think adding memory would have sped me up near as fast as this program because the problem was not in download speed or memory; it was my system being clogged and RegCure is the ultimate "Rotor-Rooter" for that!" I have a 1 year old Dell Latitude D620 that I use for business. Approximately 6 months after purchasing the computer it started putting up a message each time I turned it on that opened in the Windows Desktop after I logged onto it. I worked with Dell's support group for about 6 phone conversations trying to get this problem solved. Dell finally gave up and suggested I reformat the hard drive and reinstall the operating system. Clicking on "End Process or Close" simply cloned the message again leaving the screen locked. After installing and running RegCure the change was immediate and most welcome. Performance has accelerated to the point that I now feel that I need sunglasses when using the P.C. as response time is now "blindingly" fast. While there are still a few problems to resolve, I feel that installing RegCure resolved 90 to 95% of them. I still occasionally run into a "Not Responding" message. However, I can now clear that by right clicking on the offending file name in the bottom field, left click on "Close" to close the file, bring the file back up, and get back to work. One thing that does help is to give the P.C. sufficient time to load programs before using it. You have my permission to use this information as you wish. For the record, Microsoft's position on my problems, reported to them ad nauseum over many months, invariably informed me by automated notices "That while the problem was caused by Windows, a product of Microsoft, we have no fix for the problem"; the last notice suggested that I upgrade to a later level product."
